UCL Results: Liverpool wins, Barcelona impresses but loses against Bayern

Champions league round 2 begins with Inter Milan getting their first win 0-2 away against Viktoria Plzeň and got their first points. Three important points in a group with Bayern and Barcelona that can be decisive at the end and help them go to the next round. A goal and an assist from Edin Dzeko.

Barcelona was very impressive against Bayern in the first 45minutes and had some great chances to score. High press and total domination from Xavi’s team. However, two early goals in the first ten minutes of the second half by Hernandez and Sane were enough for Bayern to get the win and continue with their 2/2 in champions league.

Liverpool managed to get their first win against Ajax and leave behind their shameful loss against Napoli last week. Mo Salah in the 17th minute scored first with an assist from Jota but Ajax came back ten minutes later with a goal from Kudus. Liverpool got their goal they needed to get the win, with a goal from Matip in the 89th minute. Not an easy win for Liverpool but the 3 points are what matters so early in the season.
